Original: Authorities announced that they found a man and woman fatally shot inside a home in Haverhill over the weekend.
The couple were found at a home on Broadway Street in Haverhill on Sunday, March 2. The Essex County District Attorney's Office said officers had been called to the house to perform a welfare check just after 5:30 p.m.
Authorities will not release their names until they have made the proper notifications.
However, police say there is no ongoing threat to the community.
